It's weirdly hard to take out your phone and figure out what shows are up (and currently have hours) near you.

There are a few directory-style listings of exhibitions in NYC (and they're great and an important part of the community) but they're a bit cumbersome to use, especially on a phone.

Up Right Now is a new project aimed at making it easier to drop into shows on the fly by telling you what's open right now in whatever neighborhood you're in, whether it happens to be Chelsea, Bushwick or the Lower East Side.
